Gems TV closing, eyes deal for Jewelry Television (National Jeweler)

Singapore–Gems TV Holding Limited announced Monday that it is ceasing its U.S. operations and has submitted a proposal to acquire an interest in Multimedia Commerce Group Inc. (MMCG), the company that operates on-air rival Jewelry Television.
