Alright, now it’s time to begin planning your wedding, and you don’t know where to start. Well, what better to start with than the centerpiece of the proceedings – the wedding cake. You must first find a bakery, or baker that you like, and ask if they are able to make wedding cakes. Remember that most bakers are more than capable, the question is the price of the cake, and that is something to think about. Because in addition to the cake, you must have a wedding cake stand for it to sit on, as well as a table and tablecloths for it to rest on. Once you have chosen cake flavors, colors, and design, it is time to move on to the reception. You must set up a room that is large enough and aesthetically pleasing enough to house your entire wedding party and guests – and guests of guests – for a day or night of eating, drinking, and revelry. Now is not the time to skip – not even on chair slipcovers – so be ready to spend money renting out a venue, tables, chairs, and everything from food to bartenders to serve at your open bar. It is your responsibility to make sure that you put as much effort as needed into your reception, because during the actually reception, you will be too busy focusing on other things to be able to run out and pick up things you have forgotten.
